Chunky Tunisian crochet Hat

What a beautiful way to keep your head warm!

These hats have been made with a technique called Tunisian crochet, it’s something between crocheting and knitting, the end result is a dense but stretchy product. I’ve used a mocking stitch with these hats.

They are both made from the most softest yarn ever, they’re double stranded so extra thick and the beauty of both yarns shines through. The colourful yarn is a single ply acrylic. The other is a handspun, completely natural oat colour wool.

These hats are one size fits most, a slouchy fit for smaller kids (my three year old looks adorable in hers) through to a beanie fit for adult sized heads.

Hand wash only in warm to cool water and wool detergent.
