Cat Beanies

A selection of cat ear hats.

Yellow and Pink pompoms – made with my pattern and hand dyed 100% Wool. With faux fur pompoms. Super cute, wear it slouchy or fold the brim and wear it snug. Machine washable but hand wash is recommended.

Grey/Purple knit – this one was a free hand knit version, I was trying to figure out if I liked them better in crochet or knit and still can’t decide. It’s snuggy, soft and flexible. A really easy type of hat to wear with long ties for looks or to transform it into a bonnet. Made with a multi strand technique. The yarn is a mixture of 100%Merino, 80%Merino/20%Nylon and a “recycled” yarn I buy from Wild Earth yarns which is a product from the odds and ends in the mill and is heavy on the merino but has wool and what not in it. Hand wash only.

Kitschy Christmas Bonnet – absolutely not Christmas themed but the odds and ends I had left over from my Christmas advent. It is double stranded and is made from 100%Merino. The folded over brim gives it a lot of shape and the crochet is quite tight knit so has shape and the ears stand up rather well. It has ties for tying or just decoration.

Moss cat – One of my most favourite hats created in this round. Made with a “recycled” yarn which comes from Wild Earth Yarns and uses up all the odds and ends from their mill so there is no wastage. It’s soft and has a lot of Merino content. A bit of polyester fluffy for the moss and a bit of paint for a more worn look. This hat is a little bit bigger than the rest, maybe a medium/large size. Hand wash only.
